Finally, not only computer animation, but a real model of Shuba Engine made out of steel is available! This model represents the first key step towards the working prototype. Its major purpose was to optimize overall design, refine the shape of the parts, reduce their number and make sure that all of them move as they are supposed to, as engine is rotating. As a result, the real metal thing appeared a bit different from the computer model presented in this site. But the main principle of operation and majority of components remain the same.
The metal model presented here was made from scratch using very primitive “garage technology”. Precision with which it was made is not sufficient for it to burn fuel and function as a real engine. For that to happen it must turn into working prototype. But without investment and access to modern manufacturing technologies it may take ages. So, be the one who can accelerate this process.
